Omega launched the Globemaster Master Chronometer at last year’s Baselworld. Nowe it add a new watch in this collection-the Globemaster Annual Calendar.

The first novelty is the case size, which increases from 39 mm to 41 mm to offer an enhanced visibility of the distinctive pie-pan dial, here presented in a new shade of grey.  
The annual calendar feature is delivered by the new Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8922 which has been designed with an instantaneous jump of the varnished blue hand point the months of the year, each of them positioned between the blued indexes.

The polished hour and minute hands are blued and coated with Super-LumiNova, also used for the indexes.
Other blue elements are the polished central seconds hand, the Omega logo, the Constellation star as well as  the writing on the dial.

The leather strap is, of course, blue and it is completed by a stainless steel foldover clasp.

The case is crafted from stainless steel but the polished fluted bezel is made of tungsten carbide for increased resistance to scratches.
The Master Chronometer certification card that accompanies the timepiece proves that the watch has passed the eight intensive tests established by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
