The innovative True Thinline from Rado, the thinnest high-tech ceramic case in the world, was recently honored with the Good Design Award 2011.

The Good Design award from the Chicago Athenaeum, Museum of Architecture and Design in conjunction with the European Centre for architecture Art and Urban Studies, began in Chicago in 1950 and remains the oldest and one of the world’s most recognized programs for design excellence worldwide.

Rado revolutionized the watch world with the introduction of this innovative timepiece. With a movement no thicker than a credit card and a case only 5mm thick, the Rado True Thinline is as impressive in form as it is in function.

To allow this new ultra thin structure, all of the components have been intensively reworked to ensure they are fully integrated, including the quartz movement that is exclusive to Rado.
