Hamilton Jazzmaster Regulator Automatic Movement

Hamilton Jazzmaster Regulator ,a watch with separate dials for hours, minutes, and seconds, the clocks provided an easy way to get a precise read on the time when setting other devices.
Front of Hamilton Jazzmaster Regulator watch 02What make me feel surprised is its size. At 42mm, the stainless steel case isn’t gargantuan, however, a large dial and thin bezel combine to create a lot of visual heft that takes you a bit off guard. That being said, the watch still wears reasonably well. From the side, the case isn’t overly thick and it sits comfortably on the wrist. Inside you’ll find calibre H-12, which was designed by ETA exclusively for Hamilton. The automatic movement with 40-hour power reserve can be viewed through the sapphire case back. As mentioned before, Hamilton chose an asymmetric layout for the hour and second sub-dials, with the minutes anchored where they meet. Traditional regulators stack the dials vertically, which, ironically, requires a bit more effort to read the time. The Jazzmaster Regulator avoids this issue by aligning the hour dial at 10 o’clock, and increasing its size just a bit relative to the seconds dial between 4 and 5. In effect, the dials are aesthetically weighted correctly to their level of import. Hours can be read quickly, minutes precisely, and seconds with relative ease. The dial, though simple, is well-finished. Three different variations are available: a silver dial with rose gold accents, silver with black, and tonal blue. The hour dial features sunray brushed finishing with elongated diamond-shaped indexes. The minute dial features a more uniform concentric brushed finish. Applied Arabic numerals for each 5-minute interval surround the main dial, clockwise from 60 to 40 mins.
