German luxury watch brand Glashütte Original Senator Manual Winding Skeletonized Edition is an all-new, skeletonized movement created in-house.

The Glashütte Original Senator Manual Winding Skeletonized Edition, which has a 42-mm-diameter case made of polished 18k rose gold, showcases its intricately skeletonized movement in the center of its galvanized silver, openworked dial. A black railroad track minutes ring and finely drawn Roman numerals decorate the dial’s periphery, while blued, stainless steel hour and minute hands keep the time.

The skeletonized, manual-winding Caliber 49-18 — which boasts numerous hand-engraved finishes, beveled and polished edges, blued screws, a hand-finished swan’s neck fine adjustment, and a power reserve of 40 hours — is visible on both sides, thanks to the non-reflective sapphire crystal in the front and sapphire viewing window in the back. The movement also features a screw balance with 18 weighted screws, an Anachron balance spring, Incabloc shock protection, a frequency of 28,800 vph, and 19 jewel bearings including five screw-mounted gold chatons, the latter a hallmark of Glashütte watchmaking.moreover, the Glashutte Original Manual Winding Skeletonized Edition comes on a black Louisiana alligator leather strap with a rose gold clasp.
