The Chopard L.U.C Regulator is a special watch which features two separated indications for the hours and the minuted. It also comes with a GMT function, a date, a small second-sub dial and a power reserve indicator.
The Chopard L.U.C Regulator comes in a large 43mm case – 2mm or 3mm would have been welcome – but the thickness is still reasonable at 9.8mm. The case is made of 18k rose gold, alternating with polished surfaces and vertically brushed surfaces on the case bands. The Chopard L.U.C Regulator comes on a alligator strap stitched by hand, with a 18 rose gold pin-buckle.
The finish of this movement is also impressive, as it is stamped with the Geneva Hallmark, the assurance that all the pieces are finished with the highest level of details. The main-plate is circular-grained and the bridges are decorated with Geneva stripes and chamfered by hand, with polished beveled angles. Because of the 4 barrel, the movement doesn’t show a lot from its technicality but its details remains very pleasant.
